Start here — step 1
Community Rules
A few simple principles to keep Slack valuable, welcoming, and high-signal.
- 1
Share early, even if it's rough
PromptMates is a builder-first community. We value work-in-progress as much as perfect demos.
- 2
You don't need to be an expert to contribute
Show up and stay curious. Sometimes asking questions is as valuable as coming with answers.
- 3
Keep things practical and respectful
We're here to help each other improve.
- 4
No hard selling
If you've created a tool, template, or workflow useful to the community we encourage you to share it in #drops. However, hard selling or irrelevant promo is not allowed.
- 5
Protect confidentiality
This is a safe space for members to share and learn, please respect the privacy of fellow members. We also work hard to provide resources for the community & ask they are not distributed to people outside the community or used commercially (we will unfortunately have to revoke any memberships for this one to protect the community).
- 6
Ask for help
If you're stuck, tell us. If you're unsure where something goes, post it in #chat or DM Joe/Jason.
- 7
Be generous
Part of the magic of PromptMates is members teaching each other. Share your insights, workflows, prompts, and experiments freely.
